Ruby and Sapphire

The first 2 games of the 3rd Generation, these games
were released on Japan on November 21, 2002 and America on March 17, 2003.
These games have also have added 135+ Pokemon. It has new features like 2
on 2 Battling, Pokemon Contests, E-Reader Compatibility, PokeBlocks, Berry
Blending and a Pokenav. There is also new Pokeballs, Natures and a new
pokemon numbering! The New Starters are great with awesome moves. There
are two Rivalry Legendaries which are Kyogre and Groudon. The story begins with you (Brendan if boy) (May if girl) moving to Littleroot town were you are asked to see Prof. Birch, unfortunately when you get there he will not be there and so are you curious to know where he is. Arriving to your neighbor's house you will meet a girl (May) or a boy (Brendan) regardless of your character gender. He/She will remember that He/She will go catching Pokemon. Following where He/She leads you will see a frightened boy noticing that someone is endanger. You quickly see what it is and you will see Prof. Birch being chased by a wild Pokemon. He will ask you to get his bag and pick a pokemon to rescue Prof. Birch. After you have defeated the wild Pokemon Prof. Birch will reward you the Pokemon you have used and you quickly start an aventure with your Pokemnon!
