Gold and Silver
The first games of the 2nd Generation of
Pokemon and also the first games to ever hit the Johto Region. These were released
in Japan on November 21 1999, and US on October 15, 2000. These games gave an
addition to the Pokemon games because of introducing the first time ever in the
history of Pokemon the PokeGear and the new Pokemon of over 100+. These games
also have used an internal clock and was the top-selling games for the Game Boy
Color System. Pokemon from these games can now breed and has it has genders.
These games had modified the sprites to great colors and much more interesting.
The producers made new items and you can now attach items to the select button
for easy using. Trainers can now keep in touch with you with your phone at the
PokeGear. Day and Night was also introduced and had some Pokemon with an effect.
It also added the Pokemon Corner for you to gamble or play minigames with the
use of your coins.
